Ideally within a 150 mile radius of Kansas City at most. Originally bought in 1848 for a price that would equal roughly 8,500 today, John and Thomas Isbell made the 40-acre land quite. I always find them so morbidly fascinating and I used to photograph these in rural Illinois when I lived in Chicago. I mostly focus on rural abandoned places that include abandoned towns, abandoned churces, houses, etc. I’ve since then been to a few ghost towns in the Kansas area and I’m planning to post a few pictures of the decay that I was able to find very soon on their forums. ![]() Hi everyone!
